The Tourism Product Development Company Ltd. (TPDCo.) is seeking to identify a qualified, motivated, and results-oriented professional to fill the following position:
Project Officer – South Coast
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Officer monitors, facilitates, and acts as liaison for projects involving the enhancement and/or development of tourism products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies potential projects leading to development of products.
- Liaises with project owners on behalf of TPDCo.
- Execute tasks which derive from facilitation processes.
- Visits and monitors project sites and reports to Coordinator on a timely basis
- Liaises with technical experts within TPDCo, including architects, quantity surveyors and product quality officers in the facilitation process.
- Liaises with funding institutions on behalf of project owners.

- Knowledge of public sector regulations.
- Knowledge of project development, analysis and management
- Knowledge of legislative framework for tourism investment
- Proficient in the use of computers and applications for data analysis
- Excellent communication skills in various media

- Works effectively with other team members to achieve team goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or construction related discipline with at least two (2) years project management experience
- College Diploma in Construction Management or construction related discipline with at least five (5) years project management experience.
